About

About David Fleck

Hello! I am a visual artist with an architectural background, telling atmospheric and imaginative stories through my intricate illustrations. As an illustrator I've been commissioned by clients including The Scotsman, Urban Outfitters, Tiffany and Co and Harper Collins, but my main focus is on developing my own art practice and collection of art prints, largely based on my personal experiences exploring Scotland.

Life right now is a mix of time in my home studio in Glasgow, and out on the road around Scotland with my family in our wee campervan. My wife is a remote and rural GP so her work takes us to the furthest reaches and wildest shores of the country, where I join to look after our wee girl, draw, and soak up the inspiration Scotland has to offer.

My studio and art practice is Net Zero, having made careful environmental choices at every level of what I do and offsetting all the rest using certified carbon credits.

About the Prints

The fine art prints I make are known as giclée prints, made with acid-free fine art papers and archival pigment inks- resulting in gallery quality art pieces. With this quality standard the colours should be rich and strong for hundreds of years, but like any artwork if you want to keep it at its very best long term display them out of direct sunlight and protected in a frame.

About Your Order

International Orders

If you are in the EU, taxes will be included in your purchase and this will show at the checkout. Taxes and duties may still apply to you in other locations, or for larger value EU orders (over ‎€‎150). If you have any issues or questions about your order, you can email me directly at hello@davidfleck.co.uk, or use the contact page to send a message.

Delivery

Smaller prints are sent to you flat in protective card packaging, and larger prints are gently rolled in a print box. If you order a few prints in different sizes I might send them in separate packages, so that they are all packed as safely as possible.

Rolled prints can be left to settle flat naturally after unpacking, or framed directly. I roll the prints loosely and gently so they aren't damaged- please avoid rolling them more tightly or unevenly, as this can leave marks and creases on the print.

If you have any issues or questions about your order, you can email me directly at hello@davidfleck.co.uk, or use the contact page to send a message.

Returns

If your prints arrive to you damaged and you’d like to replace them, then please get in touch as soon as possible with photos of the damage so replacements can be arranged.

If for whatever reason you’d like to return your prints then please get in touch as soon as possible. Orders can be refunded for up to 30 days after your purchase, and your refund will include the original postage cost, however the return postage cost won't be covered.
